Compliance and Control has global responsibility for compliance, operational risk and security including monitoring and control activities. The compliance group focuses on ensuring compliance with all laws, rules and regulations relevant to NBIM and is responsible for regulatory and trading compliance as well as conduct of business for a global 24 hour organisation.

Norges Bank Investment Management is seeking a dedicated and result oriented professional for the position of Advisor in the Compliance group within the Compliance and Control area.
The main objective of the role will be to help ensure compliance with applicable market reporting rules, investment restrictions and investment mandate parameters. You will have the opportunity to influence the development of the Compliance and Control area as part of a growing organization.
The position is located in Oslo and some travel will be required.
Carry out market reporting and disclosure processes on daily basis
Monitor adherence to investment mandates
Identify and capture changes to applicable market laws and regulations as well as monitor compliance
Participate in the on-going development of the regulatory compliance framework, drafting policies, guidelines and mandates
Liaise with market regulators and answer regulatory inquiries
Contribute to informing and educating NBIM professionals regarding market rules and regulations

Bachelor/University degree or equivalent with a strong academic record
Experience within financial services, asset management or a regulatory environment a plus
Analytical approach with proven track record in problem solving and decision making
Excellent computer skills, experience working with business applications, databases and reporting tools
Experience working with laws and regulations applicable to financial markets and instruments a plus
Ambition to excel with a high level of integrity
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with working proficiency in written and spoken English
