NordForsk initiates and administers Nordic research collaboration. Our skilled staff members play a critical role in actively supporting NordForsk’s coordination activities and ensuring close cooperation and effective deployment of resources.
NordForsk is seeking an Adviser/Senior Adviser for administration of the e-Infrastructure network, Nordic e-Infrastructure collaboration.
In this role, you will have a key position in the Nordic collaboration on e-Infrastructure and will be able to promote the development of NordForsk as a key actor in Nordic cooperation. You will report to the Director of the Nordic e-Infrastructure Collaboration.
The vacant position is a fixed-term four-year contract with the possibility of an additional four-year extension pursuant to the guidelines of the Nordic Council of Ministers. Civil servants have the right to a leave of absence to work at NordForsk. Employees recruited from outside Norway have the right to compensation for relocation from their home country. NordForsk seeks to achieve balance with regard to the age, gender and nationality of its employees. The position will be based in Oslo. Salary as agreed upon.
Qualifications And Professional Knowledge
Experience in research administration, network coordination, collaboration projects, etc. will be viewed in a positive light. The position requires a high degree of autonomy, administrative expertise, a good understanding of roles and processes and a successful implementation record. We are seeking candidates who thrive in a hectic, international environment and enjoy working together with others. Candidates must be proficient in English and one of the Nordic languages.
